The key of David, prophesied in Isaiah 22.22 and Rev 3.7, opens the door that no one can shut. O, believer, enter in with your lamp full of oil and meet your bridegroom (Matt 25)
Since I was a little girl, this image of the 10 girls with lamps has intrigued me. Jesus, the key, has come to unlock and is coming back to bring us home.
You're welcome. There is so much that was once known that is now nearly forgotten. it's good to do a little digging and bring those things forward again.
Wow! I love how everything weaves in and out of each other. December 18 eve is the first night of Chanukah! I feel as if I want to get most things done this weekend and early in the week, so that the latter part is preparing in my heart spiritually. I love the name Immanuel so much, it brings me so much comfort. Thank you so much for this!
There truly is something special and comforting in the name and concept of Immanuel, a closeness that we might not otherwise sense that this name brings back to our remembrance.
Receiving the wisdom of being prudent with regard to the choices I make ( no matter how helpful for others and community) don’t drain me of my helpful energy. Wisdom for noticing and honoring my tipping point.
O, and one thing I discovered already is that Wisdom corresponds with Binah and going down the Tree, we have the Morning Star perfectly paired with Netzach. Coincidence? I think not!

Wisdom always wants to work for us, helping us along our path.
I love this! Thanks for sharing, Jan. I went and looked up Hildegard of Bingen's lyrics in honour of today's O! Advent blessings, Lisa
O Wisdom’s energy!
Whirling, you encircle
and everything embrace
in the single way of life.
Three wings you have:
one soars above into the heights,
one from the earth exudes,
and all about now flies the third.
Praise be to you, as is your due, O Wisdom.
Hildegard has such a visionary way with words and music. I love the three wings imagery.
