I love the meditative concept you mentioned in making stuff. Over the years, I have taught kids how to make their own meditative mandalas using magazines, tissue papers and such. Just the making of it is meditative and calms their minds. Then they have a wonderful, personal focused object to use for meditations! I loved your article.
