I really appreciated this post- there is so much alignment with my own dreamwork and collage practice. Thank you for articulating so well the importance of symbolic exploration.
Deep calls to deep! The inner journey is where we find deep meaning and satisfaction. If today’s post inspired you to take another step on that journey then it has fulfilled its intention. Thanks so much for being part of the Hedge Mystic community.
Thank you so much for this wonderful post. I’m in Jungian training, and I am really with you in feeling that Jung is trustworthy and inspiring because he had his own beyond-words experiences. I love what you’ve gathered here! I have found myself in a kind of home-grown process of working with dreams, gathering images, painting, poetry, contemplation of myths, mystical practice and prayer, academic study, and Jungian analysis. It’s hard to say what elements are most important because I need them all.
Hi Angie, thanks so much for reading and commenting. I think it’s very wise to use all of the modalities you mention especially while you’re in training and exploring through analysis. Each pathway leads to new insights and discoveries. This is an exciting time and you should explore and enjoy the journey in every way possible.
