I quite often wake at that in-between time of the night/day. A time I would call daybreak just before the rays of the Sun almost break though the horizon. It is such a magical time, and I wish it could be prolonged. I try to put words to it, but never really manage to describe it even partially. Thank you so much for this connection. "As strange as these places may seem, you will soon find your inner being deepening, growing, and your worldview expanding, nourished with mystery, meaning, and purpose. The way in can be as simple as arriving at the edge of night, just before dawn, and communing with The Moon while asking the Divine Wisdom to teach you."

Hello Melissa, the moment of daybreak is indeed magical, cosmic and filled with symbolic meanings. So glad this essay helped crystalize and verbalize some of the things you have been experiencing. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and experiences.

I particularly liked the liminality of simply experiencing the world as a living being itself, and putting aside our machines. --As I type this on a computer...

Hi Wendy, yes, we are all caught in The Machine to one degree or another. It does seem encouraging though that we can inspire one another through the use of technology to move back into simple relationship with a living world.

Hi Caitlin, Yes, such a beautiful interconnection that should be revived. I just received your new book Celtic Devotional, Daily Prayer for People of Spirit and I'm looking forward to putting it to use beginning this weekend. I've only had time to peek at the first few pages and introduction and just have to say your granddaughters' names are such a delight.

Liminal spaces are among my most visited.

I'm a early riser, most often rising in the darkness.

I honor the resonance here in your words.

Hi Rose, to rise daily in the dark is a special kind of life, one that begins each day acknowledging the mysteries. So glad this resonated with you. Thanks for reading and taking the time to comment, it’s much appreciated.
