Brigid is one potent goddess, isn't she?! Nice to remember that we all have some of her within. As someone who enjoys making fermented foods (sauerkraut, beets, hot sauce, etc.), I am perpetually amazed at the transformation from simple vegetable to something tangy and preserved with nothing but a little salty brine to launch the process. Again, there is an analogy there, I think, of how we can shift ourselves toward something deeper and more nourishing with time and a few simple ingredients. Thanks, Jan.
