Thank you for sharing this Jan! I wasn’t familiar with the name Wu-Wei. I’m learning that going with the flow, so to speak, is much better and far less stressful than trying to manage a situation that really isn’t manageable. 😊💖

Shared this with my local circle of dear women friends, Jan. Many of our conversations center on the ease that comes when we are in flow state, and, conversely, the tension that arises when we resist. I had not heard the term wu-wei, and was likewise introduced this week to the concept of hiraeth by Prue Batten who writes Knots in the String from her home in Tasmania. I believe these feelings are related and love the synchronicity of their arrival in my lexicon. Thank you!

Water is the element I am most drawn to in every way; living on the edge of Lake Erie (my freshwater ocean). Interestingly water is absent from my astrological chart; maybe that’s why I feel soooo drawn to it. I also almost drowned 3x as a child which created fear of water I had to heal from.

Your writing is very beautiful; Ty for bringing Wu-Wei alive into my life again today. I love Taoism 💗

Hi KamalaDevi Venus, thanks for reading and taking the time to share your practice. Every element has so much to teach us, water in particular seems to hold much wisdom for us.
