For those that took my Forest Sage Training in 2021, you will remember learning how both Europeans/Celts and Native Americans used Juniper in both practical and ritual ways. You explored intuitive knowing around truth + falsehood, boundaries, safety, releasing + cleansing. Alchemical Symbolism of the 3 Wizard Kings & The Birth of Christ
This unusual and esoteric take on the Three Kings in the Christmas story is unique. Nevertheless, this is an excellent example of using alchemy as a lens through which to look and layering a system onto a well-known tale to find correspondences. The comments on this piece are pretty contentious, so skip them if you find that energy upsetting, or read them if you have a solid intellectual constitution.

A short film made in the Scottish Highlands as part of a post-doctorate scholarship program. Told through traditional Gaelic storytelling, this film depicts the winter goddess, the Cailleach. A fearsome and powerful deity, the Cailleach rules over the coldest months of the year, is credited with creating mountains and lochs and is a guardian of forest animals. English subtitles for the Gaelic language. Gaelic subtitles for the English language.
